‘Sweater Weather’ Cocktail
Embrace the flavors of fall with this Sweater Weather cocktail—a pairing that combines crisp apple sweetness with the nutty, caramel notes of sherry. This seasonal sipper is as warming as it is refreshing, with the cider bringing a bright, fruity base and the sherry adding depth and richness. Together, they capture the essence of autumn’s harvest, making each sip feel like a stroll through an orchard on a brisk fall day.
Sherry brings a unique depth and complexity to cocktails, with its range of flavors from dry and nutty to rich and sweet. Adding sherry to a drink can elevate its character, balancing sweetness and acidity while introducing subtle, layered notes of caramel, almond, or dried fruit. Here, it’s earthy undertones complement the spiced nuances of apple cider, creating a cocktail that’s perfect for gatherings, cozy evenings by the fire, or any autumn occasion that calls for a drink as charming as the season itself.

SPICED SYRUP
This is one of my most adored cocktail syrups—simple to make and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. You can easily adjust the recipe with whatever spices you have on hand, but cinnamon and clove should form the backbone for the perfect blend.
